  1. Dec 22,  · The only other song I knew by Country Joe and the Fish at the time was "FISH Cheer". About eight years or so later in I was listening to a psychedelic music special on KPFA and Country Joe was on air live being interviewed by the show's hosts and also taking calls from the public.
  2. Country Joe & The Fish (CJ Fish): Country Joe & The Fish (LP, Vinyl record album) - Titles include "The Love Machine", "Hand Of Man", "The Return Of Sweet Lorr -- .
  3. Mar 05,  · CJ and The Fish was a pleasant slightly country rock album with good sonics although I think the previous one Here We Are Again is better and more individual. To me the third album Together was the only real weak album they put out (leaving aside the Reunion album from the late 70s). This album provided a smooth transition to Joe McDonald's solo career.

  7. By the time of CJ Fish (released in ) most of the band had gone, but Country Joe McDonald and lead guitarist Barry Melton rekindle their original, quite unique sound on "She's A Bird", "Mara" and the superb "Return Of Sweet Lorraine" (psychedelia at its best) - intermingled with some excellent rock & roll and folk numbers, in particular /5(19).
  8. The second of these Woodstock songs is "The Fish Cheer: I-Feel-Like I'm-Fixin'-To-Die" (track 19). This is also a track you can only find on this CD. This is not the version that was made famous by The Woodstock Movie. That version was recorded during Country Joe's "solo" performance at Woodstock/5(18).
